Battery Workforce Challenge Y2 Fall Workshop 2024

  • Sponsors, faculty, and students must register in person at workshop during one of our registration windows. If you can’t make one, please reach out to Organizers so we are aware you will be arriving at an off time.
  • We live off of Feedback - Please consider providing it for sessions in which you participate
Navigating Sched - General:
  • Use the Schedule feature and filters to sign up for relevant sessions.
  • Each training session is categorized by Type (i.e. Event, Presentation, Roundtable, Training - Swimlane Grouped, Training & Workshops - School Grouped)
    • Event - These are required by everyone
    • Presentations - Each team should have 5 graded events on their schedule. Entire team is encouraged to be in the presentation and should sign up for their session (for headcount purposes). Teams may not attend other team’s presentations.
    • Training - Swimlane Grouped - Each team should determine which member goes to which session. All teams are required to have at least one member present for every session.
    • Training & Workshops - School Grouped - Teams are required to sign up for the sessions that are assigned to them. All training material will be posted for all schools to have available.

  • In order to view your personalized schedule after signing up for classes: Hover over the profile picture and click "My Schedule".
  • Note: "All" shows all events under that category. Do not rely on this track filter to sign-up for sub-teams required trainings.

Buses A&B: Ride and Drive Buses C&D: Benchmarking & Dome Tours

Get ready to ride!

Buses A & B will be taken to the Evaluation Track for a Ride and Drive experience, while buses C & D will be driven to the CTC for tours of the facility including the Design Dome and Benchmarking.

Water, snacks, games, portable toilets, and hand washing stations will be available at the Ride and Drive.

A tent with heaters, seats and tables has been arranged, but please dress for the weather.

Registrants who opted into the Nov 1: Please follow the detailed instructions sent to you via email, from jheimberg@anl.gov.

Those joining us during this time are to arrive to the CTC Visitor Lobby and Check in with Security at 10:30am.
You will be escorted to the Amphitheater, where the Key Ceremony and Lunch will take place. You will be escorted back to the lobby at 1:30pm so you may return to your vehicle and depart.

The Key Ceremony will feature remarks from Mark Champine, Stellantis’ senior vice president and head of the North America engineering technical centers; Chris Feuell, Stellantis’ Chrysler and Ram brand CEO, and Mark Smith, U.S. Department of Energy’s Vehicle Technologies Office’s Technical Integration Program manager.

Here Feuell will present each BattChallenge team with the key fobs to their 2024 Ram ProMaster EVs.
